Qemetica's silicates, produced at the Żary and Iłowa (Lubuskie Voivodeship) plants, are characterised by a very high chemical purity, guaranteed by a restrictive selection of raw materials and modern production technologies. Quality is continuously monitored in well-equipped on-site laboratories.

Sodium silicates are used in the production of precipitated silica, detergents, paper, zeolites and other industries.

Potassium silicates are used in the production of welding electrodes, construction chemicals, including silicate paints and plasters. For the purpose of further growth in this segment, Qemetica focuses on the new silicate applications and development of high-margin products.
